Healing Touch is a relaxing, nurturing energy therapy. Gentle touch assists in balancing your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Healing Touch works with your energy field to support your natural ability to heal. It is safe for all ages and works in harmony with standard medical care.

WHERE IS HEALING TOUCH USED?
Healing Touch is used in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, long term care facilities, private practices, hospices, and spas. Janet Mentgen, RN, founded Healing Touch in 1989 as a continuing education program for nurses, massage therapists, other health care professionals, and lay persons. Today Healing Touch has spread internationally and is taught in universities, medical and nursing schools, and other settings internationally.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?
The first session involves a consultation as well as the energy session itself. Our certified practitioner will ask a series of questions about your physical, mental, and emotional needs, and will answer any questions you may have. Then you will be asked to lie fully clothed on a massage table while the practitioner gently places their hands slightly above or on certain areas of your body.
The session generally lasts 40 to 60 minutes, and people frequently report feeling deeply relaxed and peaceful during and after the session.

The Healing Touch International Certificate Program.
Healing Touch is a standard curriculum of classes in energy medicine and can lead to International certification as a Healing Touch Practitioner.
All classes are endorsed by American Holistic Nurses Association and carry continuing education hours for Nurses and Massage therapists

Healing Touch Course Review
Levels 1-3

This class is designed for students that have completed levels 1,2 or 3 and wish to refresh their skills and knowledge of healing touch techniques, policies and procedures. It is a valuable class for those students who have taken time off from clinical practice as well as those students who want to clarify their practice.

In this level the student will begin to refine thier skills and work toward utilizing Healing Touch Therapy on a more advanced level. Students will complete 5 exchanges over the course of the class and be given the foundation for the homework for course completion.

Healing Touch For Pregnancy,
Labor & Delivery
For Healing Touch Students & Practitioners
This course is designed to assist the student/practitioner working with expectant parents to enhance thier pregnancy, labor and birth experience utilizing Healing Touch and other Complimentary Therapies.
We will focus on easy to learn non invasive therapy techniques to ease physical symptoms of fatigue, nausea, etc and promote
Relaxation, Pain Control and Stress management & general wellbeing.
The class will offer a specific group of useful and supportive measures for Pregnancy,
Labor & Delivery.
