We are bombarded with noise. The sounds of "life" as we have designed it can often drown out the precious guidance of our inner voice. Often the only quiet in our day is that few minutes before sleep takes over , or the seconds before our feet hit the floor in the morning. A true gift to ourseleves is the gift of quiet moments. A few minutes each day to reflect and renew. Breathe and take in the silence............you will be amazed at what you hear!

"The body never lies", health experts tell us, but what is yours telling you? We all understand the importance of sleep, good nutrition and exercise. We need to remember that our emotions and our environment also influence our well being. Be conscious of your words, company and images that you allow to be part of your daily routine. Refresh and renew with a few deep breaths, some soft music and a walk out of doors. We all need to be gentle with our "selves" and honor our need for solitude and serenity.

February 9th, What have you noticed today? Did you take the time to enjoy the sunshine, or stop to listen to children playing outside? When you took that first sip of coffee this morning did you really taste it or did it slip down without any fanfare? I think that many of us spent our days as "human do-ings" vs "human be-ings". How about tomorrow, will the same thing happen, or will you stop and "notice" something. I am curious, are you?
